Melbourne Storm

The Melbourne Storm is a professional rugby league team based in Melbourne, Victoria, competing in the National Rugby League (NRL), Australia’s premier rugby league competition. Founded in 1997, the Storm quickly established itself as one of the most successful clubs in the NRL, winning multiple premierships and maintaining a reputation for excellence. They play their home games at AAMI Park, a modern stadium known for its world-class facilities and passionate fan base.

With a history of developing elite talent and fostering a strong team culture, the Storm continues to be a dominant force in the league. The club is committed to community engagement and inclusivity, working on initiatives that promote accessibility and participation in rugby league.

The Storm has been partnering with The Inclusion Project since 2024 and will continue their collaboration in the 2025 season, reinforcing their commitment to making rugby league inclusive for all.

Access to Sensory Friendly Space which is designed to provide sensory relief and stimulation for people living with sensory needs. Operated by Occupational Therapists to provide individualised support for participants.

You can expect fireworks, pyrotechnics, LED lighting, and live music at a Melbourne Storm game.

These will accompany key moments in the match, such as a big tackle, a try, or a crucial defensive play. Expect to hear "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, the roar of the crowd, and the ringing of cowbells, all adding to the electric atmosphere. Sirens, air horns, and stadium announcements will also be part of the experience, ensuring every thrilling moment is felt throughout the arena.

Tram 70 (Wattle Park) from Flinders Street and Richmond Stations. These stop at Rod Laver Arena (Stop 7B), John Cain Arena (Stop 7C) and AAMI Park (Stop 7D).  

Tram 48 (North Balwyn) and Tram 75 (Vermont South). These stop adjacent to the MCG on Wellington Parade.
