Child Safety Statement

Hawks Community Foundation is committed to promoting and protecting the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people who participate all Club related activities, programs, services and facilities by fostering a culture where children and young people feel safe and welcome.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse, harm, mistreatment or exploitation and committed to providing an environment and culture that is caring and safe for all children and young people.

The Hawks Community Foundation’s Safeguarding Children and Young People (Policy), outlines how the Hawks Community Foundation (HCF) will deliver its obligations and commitments to safeguarding Children and Young People involved in HCF activities, events, services and facilities. The Policy seeks to provide a safe, fair and inclusive environment for Children and Young People through creating a child safe culture and environment and outlining the respective responsibilities regarding safeguarding Children and Young People who are engaged in the Club’s programs, events and services.
